I was driving down Lawrence about two and a half weeks ago and noticed that the lights were out at Victoria. No signs of life at all. Happened to be driving past it again over the weekend and got a good look while waiting for the stoplight. Looks like it's closed. No note on the door that I could see. Name is still on the front of the building, the regular window signs are still up, etc, but the neon OPEN sign is dark and no lights on inside. Does anybody know what the deal is? I saw Joyce way back in January of this year, I got lucky since the place was full, I got to go to the basement, it had no table shower but I like it better down there. Thought I'd share this since there is no definite answer to this place on this board. Visited the El Massage in Park Ridge. They advertise as Europeon deep tissue massage and thats all it is.
Got a Polish woman, Madra early 30s great body and face. After chatting with her for awhile it was definite that there were no extras offered. Real massage therapist was worth the money for the massage though. Finished off with a steam room/shower. Felt refreshed afterwards, but will still monger around for the right thing.
.45 for the half hour great for the massage given. Dropped Madra a .4 tip for doing a good job and putting up with the q's.

Got ripped off at "My Neighborhood Spa" on Cermak.
Money was "conveniently" missing from my pocket after I was in the table shower room.I paid this place a visit after seeing on CL the $50 one hour special which includes table shower with "nice looking Latin girls". If I would have read the forums first, I would not have left the two $100 bills in my wallet in my pants during the table shower. In retrospect, that was a stupid thing to do. Fortunately, as I was reaching for a tip on my way out, the $200 was still there. Maybe they have turned honest.
My session was with Melissa. She has a rock hard little body and is probably about 21 years old. During the table shower she asked if I was shy, then grabbed my dick with one hand while she was washing me with the other.

I told her I wanted to tip her and would be right back. I walked to the Charter One bank across the street to get some change, came back, and gave her $30. She seemed surprised and happy I gave her the $20 plus a $10. Remember, with the $50 door fee, that was a grand total of $80.

If you pay her a visit, treat her well because she is a real nice girl, but don't tip more than $30 for the same service. Let's keep this place affordable!

I asked her are these negotiable- she says yes. I say I planned on spending.8. Based on "SpaSearch" recommendation.
She then agreed on and "half sensual w/HR"- I figured not bad.
And after maybe 15min into the Massage, she says that I can let her when I am ready to get my extras, at this point, she wants me to pay for extra's, I had already given the $.5 at the door. So I figured I just need to pay the balance of $.3. Sorry, she meant.8 over above the.5 I already paid. OK, I was like hold up, you're kidding me (Am I being caught on Camera- Punk'd! ).
I am now mad I didn't ask for "Melissa". So we go back and forth, and you talk about a "buzzkill", we settled on an extra.4 over.5 already paid.
By the time we get the money paid, and get back to biz, I wasn't really feeling this whole thing, Maybe I am just accustomed to so much more from attraction to affection with very beautiful women, that this negotiation, and paid extra's just took the excitement away.

When you're negotiating for extras, it's an entirely different transaction from the door fee; you made a simple mistake. If you wanted to spend .8 total and already paid .5 at the door, you should have said you only had .3 on you.
I can only speak for myself, but it's been my experience that most Latinas will try to upsell you hard (stand your ground!), the Asians are the most accommodating (and, unfortunately, significantly older), and the Euros are hit and miss (I'd bet most of the seniors have gotten a massage from a smokin' hot Russian or Polish girl without the HE).
I had a similar experience to yours awhile ago that I'll report on shortly.

You got upsold, Ball Player...don't worry about it. Next time, control the situation and if you dont understand what you are hearing, confused, not happy with the prices etc..walk out, just leave, AFTER the massage..lame or not. The best consequence for upsellers if to make them work with no "extra" money...that's their real pay.

Never tried LMP before, decided to try it yesterday, stopped by at yin around 6pm, saw a thick african american girl and a guy in the front lobby from outside, I didn't even walk in and decided to leave since my goal is latin. It's kinda like when I bid projects to GC's I can tell you it's ALOT more expensive to build or do anything in Chi-town than in Houston, Dallas, St. Louis, etc.
If $50 would get you a rub and tug at an AMP, the local gov. would be shutting all of 'em down for being too cost effective and efficient. It would make our elected officials look bad.

So its not a total loss albeit a higher price tag but we still have the power of negotiating so we still can drive the price down especially in this economy. All in all its up to us to set the stage on how these AMPs operate. If we tolerate high prices and shit service its our fault not the AMPs. We should demand better service and fair pricing after all we are the consumer.

I think his time frame is too short. Go back 10 years, and I can remember postings here asking "How come there are no spas in Chinatown?" Before Mercy, before Alice, etc, Chinatown was a ghost town for spas.

My gut feeling is that this was put up by someone trying to give Mary trouble. She has had trouble in the past with people. She has stated in previous ads that "therapist does not join you in the hot tub." In addition, while she has given some HJs, she usually encourages self-service after some teasing. Every time we make the rounds and ask about the lovely ladies at Lisunia's the responses are always the same, nothing ever changes there. If you've been before you know what to expect. I've always enjoyed the place but it's a hike to get there. The experience is quite pleasant and the girls are pretty but it's also expensive for what you get. It's been my experience that the Europeans, on average, are much more willing to negotiate than the Latinas. I'll NEVER pay what the Latinas are asking, and I won't pay that amount at an EMP either. Finally made my triumphant return to the AMP scene. Actually had a quick pulse since it's been so long.
Went to Mercy at 8 S. Had to sign in. The doorman. Not the black one referenced here, was like 'Mercy, huh? Okay." no ID checked. Other than that nothing. But what an ass.

Haiku's reports on this board have been mixed at best, but my recent experience certainly has been quite pleasant.
The downside first:
- no TS, unassisted stand-up shower only (before and/or after the massage)
- steep 1hr fee of .8 (you pay for the location, I suppose)
But here's the upside:

Thought Id check out a new spot and TOFTT. Saw the ad on cl and I live fairly close by. Nice place in a store front that is under a condominium. A little too open as there is a lot of foot traffic. They had a special running .50 hr. Usually .65. The massage was very average. Draped the whole time and not even a slight glance of the boys. The girl was cute, petite and young but the massage is totally legit with an average massage. The place is run by a white guy who works the front desk with a desk and computer. Interesting set up for sure but I don't think I'll be returning.

Yeah, that was me who posted about how they re-use dirty towels at Xindy. So they're still up to their same old shit? I have not been back after I saw what Raoul also saw. I just can't get used to the idea of being wiped down with the same dirty towel that was in another guy's asshole...but that's just me.
