Today I saw an ad on CL about this no-name AMP with the EXACT location and p#. It said "under new management." I suppose I'll come by to check it out. Anybody else know about this place?
If I recall, there was already a MP in that little plaza at Brookhurst and Heil.

BTW... at a 160 hhr incall, how much do you think goes to the provider? At least 100, so there's really no difference in the tipping scale, you're just handing over the house fee and tip in one lump sum, as opposed to paying the house fee first and then tipping the provider. !
Just curious, at a typical MP where the standard tip for full service is one hundred, does the technician actually keep the entire $? Do they have to tip the MMS at the end of the day or week?

Emerald Spa is close to my office and after reading a post from Cash I thought I would drop by for a rub in between clients. Mr. Value mentioned Young and it sounded good but settled on Lina because Young only works weekends.

Thanks for the insight. I wasn't sure how much the gals paid the MMS or if she was paid entirely out of the house fee. What are the girls expected to tip the MMS at the larger mostly R&T shops? It does definately reinforce why 3 major types of parlors exist - R&T, FS, Legit.
Got me thinking that running such a business can be pretty good for the MMS - assuming she is also the owner and gets the base fee as well. Even a small shop can yield pretty good results if most of the income goes unreported as income:

Assume the MMS under reports her income which for a normal wage earner isn't possible. I would say this jumps her "tax equivalent" income, even after expenses are deducted, to about $400k which is right at the major league minimum salary ($400k in 2009).
The gals do OK as well assuming that each works about 4 days / week.

This would be all good if they were really that busy. Most places are no where near that busy, especially in these slower times. Try closer to 8 total customers. And almost all owners do not work in their shops, only a small percentage.

I also think it's one of those things where if the provider(s) have a good rapport with the mms, they can be honest, or at least "close" to being honest about what service and how much tip a customer left. Meaning... if some dude goes to a FS joint and pays for 30 mins and only ends up getting a tug and tips the girl .40, chances are the provider is going to tell mommy that he only got a hj and gave a standard .40 tip. If the mms is cool, she's not going to expect her girl to tip her out based on the FS rate.
As for HJ factories, I know at the popular joint in LF, the girls get 100% of the house fee, but like a hairstylist, they have to rent their space/room. In the end, it has to be profitable for both parties, otherwise the business would fail. Just my 2!

A different question came to mind - what is the expectation on bells when you take an hour and pay the 1.6-2.0? usually at a asian incall you get multiples in the hour. does that happen at amp for hour deal?

So, this place is supposed to be the new place that TLC on Beach moved to. Yesterday I called and asked for Cici but was told that she no longer works there (did she ever? Idk). I asked for someone else with similar service, and mms recommended C***l. So the appointment was set at 6:30.

Visited the Orange County area and tried out three establishments (two I read about here) and as follows:
First visit was of Coral Spa and had a older chunky korean (approx 5'5, 140) which means she had a spare tire, but not horrible, definitely not as cute as the perky korean that originally met me at the door. True that it is located in a high concentration of places, especially for this area of town. Plenty of no go's like O very close. I'll evaluate sometime soon, if someone won't beat me to it first.

To me it never matters how many posts you may have. But if someone with 0 posts wants 100 questions asked then I only answer one. I dont mind at all giving info out. Hate to even tell some of you F'ers this but, went to Misty Spa. Its on newport where the old Tropicana or whatever was. Same place, very nice inside. Has a shower. Yeah, a couple of years ago, when the new OK that moved from Skypark moved to the place in Santa Ana, I went by as they were tearing down the improvements they did to the unit. The guys response was that the building owners didn't allow this kind of business. No shit!
After they made it to Von Karman, for a while the shower was repaired with duct tape, ie the entire floor of the shower was duct tape. Later there were vinyl tiles, if I recall correctly, on the floor of the shower. I'm pretty sure they simply tiled over the duct tape :)

I have been to the place on the corner of Goldenwest and Garden Grove. It's a Korean-run place. A new spot opened off of 17th and Tustin. If you are familiar with the old Ponderosa that had Shi-Shi (Xi-Xi maybe), Becky,Jasmine...and was as subtle as a third eye on your forehead - the newplace is in the exact same location. I rememeber walking in and hearing a fellow mongerer going at it.

I'd noticed a AMP advertising on CL almost always after a Whittier AMP that I knew was FS.

Tried this one out, at first I was a little concerned, place is kind of worn down and dirty. Providers were ok looking, maybe a 5. 5/10. A little disapointed at first, but then the massage started.
