Google a lot of spa properties you find they get busted, close, re open as legitimate and then the menu starts up. Some like the one half way up Mt Auburn, Waiverly st and our favorite Pawtucket spas are long since renovated onto something else. South st and so many others just continually change hands. Given the great layout of two main I would not be surprised if it's not back to a menu if not now but utr. How many times someone posts their go to full menu place just closed and it's the first we heard. I am sure if they do not remodel that the spa will be back in vanilla at least for a while.

In Harvard Square with limited time to get away and not car so hopefully walking distance. Won't be able to get time away to Lucky or anything on that end of Mass Ave. Any options?In a pinch there is a place far up Mass Ave still in Cambridge called Sunshine (you'd probably want to Uber it, although I guess it's probably about 10 minutes walk from the Porter Sq T stop). I've not heard recent reports but it was a solid massage and skilled HE from a friendly and reasonably attractive 40's? Lady. I partook on a couple of occasions but last time was over a year ago. It is amazing how we can get both consistency and variability in our visits from getting Intel RTF. Yes a second visit often brings a better experience. These places certainly are happy if they can get "regulars".
Like everything in life it is often first impressions that have an impact. It is always nice if you can make an appt by phone or text.
Then being on time and "acting like you have been there before vibe " . Also we all have good days and bad days. If you were not the first customer who knows what the person before you was like. This is how they make a living and get by day to day. It is a job to them and their expectations will differ from ours. The want us to finish asap with the most $$ they can get. While we want the most for at least what we consider industry standards. It always goes a long way to learn some simple phrases / greetings in their "language " Chinese or Korean usually. Many of these ladies have limited English and we all are using our translator apps. That is why is is important to RTF and be prepared for YMMV. The difficult decision at times of it will be worth a second visit or not. It has been awhile since I have had 3 strikes against a place. Trust your gut feeling is what I say there are plenty of options out there.

Now with the reports as someone who frequents regularly it is very busy. There are new girls. As many as 4 or 5 working at a time now. I was baited and switched 2 x in the same appointment. Most recent visit I called ahead and verified they weren't busy. When I got there they were busy. Strike one. Was stuck in a room and waited 10 minutes for someone to start my session. Hey Boston mongers, I'm in town for the first time this week and staying downtown. Based on the research here and in the CTown thread I decided to check out 72 Kneeland and ask for Angela as there were a few positive reports for her.
