I can only speak for myself here but first let me say I do appreciate your opinion on this however here is my general beef. Had the apology not been made to the general public in an effort to clear her name I would have respected it. Had she bothered to contact me and say " my bad " I would have respected it. I think the board reaction is based on the fact that her first and at the time only post here was one of regret over being called out (now that I think about it, how does someone with no account and likely no traffic on this site even know there is discussion about them? Guess anything is possible)
Let me paint a picture for you. You have been talking to a provider on Yahoo for a few days. You have good conversations and then one day your told yes I can see you. First your told "I have an outcall but when I get back I will I'm you " (by the way can someone explain to me how an outcall in which you have to provide transportation works? Isn't the point not to burn gas money? Anyway). You I'm them when they said they would be back just to see what happened to your appointment. She I'm's you back " I've been back for a while baby LOL, still want to see me?" Suddenly she has phone issues and the text aren't working. How do I know? Her last text says " My text is trippin" Well seeing as she said come over at a given time you head over there and call her from the road. She answers the phone (yay it works again, imagine the chances of that)
Now instead of her saying "Now isn't good, I don't feel comfortable" She says yeah come on and call me from the parking lot when you get here. Now imagine driving over there through snow and icey conditions and reaching the destination. You call and it goes straight to voice mail. Time and time again. Strange considering you spoke to her all of 10 minutes earlier. This goes on for 20 minutes or so. Sitting there freezing, calling.
Why wait you ask? Why sit there and bother? 1) I assumed she actually had a phone issue and couldn't communicate and 2) she initially left a good impression on me. So when I got back home I called and left a message telling her this isn't cool and asked what happend. I also I'm'd simply saying " not cool " not hearing from the next day I again assumed ok, her phone must be jacked up but when I saw her posting on yahoo I realized that this wasn't the case and her actions were intentional. Her responding on here pretty much confirmed it.

Just play it cool. Talk on your phone, act like a guest and head straight to the elevators. Never had a problem. Besides I think most of the desk people know what's going on.I travel all the time- By your rules, I'm a john. I frequently run in the hotel for 10-30 minutes, either to check in, wash up and drop off the laptop before dinner, or just use the bathroom.
Now if it's the $5 hotel in FIB, they would figure me for a john as a middle class white guy. But the typical hotel from super-8 to the Ritz. You know how many construction workers go to the hotel to avoid doing no2 in a porta pottie. Or salesmen come back to the room between meetings. And I think you are giving too much credit to the average front desk clerk. Lots of times, they don't remember me 5 minutes later (say if my room key doesn; t work.)
Not that I've done it more then once or twice, but I have brought a SW in heels and fishnets past the front desk. That's a bit obvious, but as a paying customer doing it once in a visit, I can get away with it. I had a indian lady get on me about it at a FIB hotel-that it was too risky, I should just find a nice girl. I told her I don't sleep with SW (true) , but still have fun with them. The other time was at a nice business casual hotel (ie Marriott Courtyard)

Ok fellas, I'm looking for some guidance here. I tend to see chicks who work out of motels with outside access bcuz I don't want to walk into a Lobby and then 30 minutes or 60 minutes later walk right back out and have the front desk people see me. Being invisible meaning, pretend like you are resident. The reality is no one gives crap why you are there or what you are doing, especially, if it is a busy hotel.
Take brief case (computer bag really) , pretend like you are on your smart phone doing work or pretend like you are talking to someone on you cell phone and be confident and look like you have right to be there and act normal as you pass others and what you would normally do on a business trip.
It is same as going to fancy restaurant by yourself, asking to be seated and enjoying the dinner.
Some can do it and some can't.
