Dude, I remember the 28th floor. That was the apt that they owned to house the girls. I had FIP while my other friend was lickin her tits in the booth. I think her name was Miki. She drove a white NSX. I am trying to remember the names of the girls they let me take up there.

What I recall, as you walked in a long bar was to the right and a big stage was in back against the wall. Round tables filled the rest of the space. There was stairs leading up to the dressing rooms. I remember live music and the girls walked around in customs from bikini to full blown burlesque outfits (feathers and stuff). Today it's a gathering place for social events. I've been there for private parties, fundraisers, they even had film makers so quick turn around short films to be played back and judged. From what I understand, the land owners wanted to renovate the sign and put it back up, the sign did not meet the cities sign ordinance. The property owners seat variance and it was granted but the sign has not gone up yet.
Glades was down the street heading Ewa, mauka side across from Kekaulike St. That building was torn down and replaced. Another Notorious feature on Hotel St and King St was the pool halls. I've won and lost a lot of money in some of the pool halls. Room was large with pool tables and pinball machines. Back in the 70's (my era) cruise nights would be driving down Hotel St, cruise through Waikiki then head back to Chinatown and hangout in the pool halls.

Yup, was just discussing with braddah h, about club esquire. I remember always drooling over the ads in the sports section when I was in high school. They always had a picture of the weekly hot stripper. Couldn't wait to turn 18 so I could go. It was one of the first places I went.
