Just browsing the sites is not a crime. They can find out who owns any number with a court order. There is a lot of tech out there that we don't know of, and the cameras that can read your license plate add another layer of risk. I would still think the strongest case would be catching you in the act. All this other stuff is supporting evidence. Unless they are in the room with us, they don't know we did with any girl.

But, I did ask that very question about solicitor phones and privacy. I was told, if they are up on a girl's phone from the ad, any device that contacts them for solicitation is covered under that initial warrant type for that phone they are up on. They do not have to get a separate warrant for each monger that contacts her number in a manner equal to solicitation. This is a state by state thing and NC is the second state to "move the goalposts" in this area.
Again, I have no rebuttal and what anyone feels is correct, is fine by me. I just passed along what I was told, being that it will now be a felony, and will not respond again.
